S&P: RPI Finance loan BBB-

Standard & Poor's said it assigned a BBB- rating to RPI Finance Trust's incremental $500 million term loan B tranche due Nov. 9, 2018.

The agency also said it affirmed its BBB- corporate credit rating.

The outlook is stable.

The ratings reflect a satisfactory business risk profile, shown by management's solid track record in conducting acquisitions that have resulted in a diverse, high-quality portfolio of royalty-generating pharmaceutical assets with solid sales growth prospects, S&P said.

Those strengths are offset by some therapeutic concentration in rheumatoid arthritis treatments, the agency said.
