RBC plans buffered enhanced return notes tied to MSCI World index

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 10 – Royal Bank of Canada plans to price 0% buffered enhanced return notes due Oct. 15, 2020 linked to the MSCI World index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 110% of any index gain, capped at par plus 21% to 25%.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 5% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 5%.

RBC Capital Markets, LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Oct. 11 and settle on Oct. 16.

The Cusip number is 78013XM88.
