New Issue: RBC prices $2 million notes linked to international index basket

Seattle, April 28 - Royal Bank of Canada priced a $2 million issue of 0% principal-protected notes due April 29, 2011 linked to a basket of international indexes, according to a SUPPL filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The basket includes the Nikkei 225 Index with a 25% weight, the Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 Index with a 25% weight, the FTSE 100 Index with a 20% weight, the S&P 500 Index with a 15% weight and the iShares MSCI Mexico Index Fund with a 15% weight.
Payout at maturity will par plus any again on the index basket on April 27, 2011, the final valuation date. Investors will receive at least par.
