RBC plans to price PLUS linked to iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF

Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 16 – Royal Bank of Canada plans to price 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Feb. 2, 2017 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final share price is greater than the initial share price, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 300% of the fund return, subject to a maximum return of 21.75%. If the final share price is less than the initial share price, investors will have one-to-one exposure to the decline.

RBC Capital Markets, LLC is the agent. Distribution is through Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

The notes will price on Oct. 30 and settle on Nov. 4.

The Cusip number is 78013D862.
