Tupelo, Miss., Dec. 4 – Royal Bank of Canada sold C$1.5 billion of 2.35% five-year deposit notes at 99.981 to yield 2.342% on Thursday, according to a market source.
The notes due Dec. 9, 2019 (Aa3/AA-/DBRS: AA) priced with a spread of 91.8 basis points over the Government of Canada benchmark.
RBC Dominion Securities Inc. was the bookrunner.
The financial services company is based in Toronto.
