RBC redeems $10.73 million buffered optimization securities on S&P 500

Madison, Wis., Dec. 26 - Royal Bank of Canada said it redeemed all $10,733,000 of its outstanding buffered autocallable optimization securities due July 1, 2013 linked to the S&P 500 index.

The securities (Cusip: 78008D554) were redeemed on Dec. 26 at par plus an annualized call return of 8.55%.
