New Issue: RBC prices $414,000 leveraged buffered notes linked to MSCI EAFE

Chicago, June 27 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $414,000 of 0% leveraged buffered notes due June 24, 2024 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 180% of the gain, subject to a maximum settlement amount of $1,212.40 for each $1,000 principal amount. Investors will receive par if the index falls by 17.5% or less and lose 1.2121% for every 1% decline in the index beyond 17.5%.
