DBRS confirms AAA on Canadian bank covered bonds

DBRS confirmed the AAA ratings on several Canadian bank’s bonds issued under various covered bond programs.

Included in the confirmations were Bank of Montreal’s 16 outstanding series of covered bonds issued under its global registered program, Royal Bank of Canada’s 45 outstanding series of covered bonds issued under its global program, Bank of Nova Scotia’s 30 outstanding series of covered bonds under its global registered program, National Bank of Canada’s 11 outstanding series of covered bonds under its legislative global program, Laurentian Bank of Canada’s two outstanding covered bonds under its legislative covered bond program and Toronto-Dominion Bank’s 20 outstanding covered bonds under its global legislative program.
