RBC plans 0% principal-protected notes linked to Euro Stoxx, Nikkei

New York, Jan. 23 - Royal Bank of Canada plans to price an issue of 0% principal-protected notes due Feb. 24, 2010 linked to equal weights of the Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 and Nikkei 225 indexes, according to a SUPPL filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will price on Feb. 20 and will settle on Feb. 22.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any positive return on the index basket. Investors will receive at least par.

RBC Capital Markets Corp. will be the agent.
