Rosetta Resources plans to price $400 million 10-year senior notes in Wednesday drive-by

Portland, Ore., May 21 - Rosetta Resources Inc. plans to price a $400 million offering of 10-year senior notes (existing ratings B2/BB-) Wednesday following a late-morning conference call with investors, according to a market source.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Wells Fargo Securities LLC, BMO Capital Markets and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities are the joint bookrunners for the public offering.

BofA Merrill Lynch, BBVA, Comerica and Scotia Capital are the co-managers.

The notes come with five years of call protection.

The Houston-based oil and gas exploration and production company plans to use the proceeds to pay down its revolver and for general corporate purposes.
