Atlanta to sell $433.44 million in water and wastewater revenue bonds

New York, Oct. 5 - The city of Atlanta plans to sell $433.435 million in series 2009B water and wastewater revenue bonds, according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds (Aa2/AAA/AA+) will be sold through senior managers Goldman, Sachs & Co., SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Terminus Securities. The co-managers are Jackson Securities Inc., Morgan Keegan & Co. Inc., Raymond James & Associates Inc., Siebert Brandford Shank & Co. LLC and Wells Fargo Securities Inc.

The bonds are due 2010 to 2024 with term bonds due 2029, 2034 and 2039.

Proceeds will be used to refund the city's series 2001B and 2001C bonds.
