ROO closes $15.5 million private placement of stock

New York, Nov. 16 - ROO Group, Inc. wrapped a private placement of its stock for $15.5 million.
The investors in the deal include 033 Asset Management LLC, Ashford Capital Management and Tudor Investment Corp.
The full terms of the deal could not be determined Thursday.
New York-based ROO develops internet video content.
The company's stock jumped by 36%, or 72 cents, Thursday to close at $2.72 (OTCBB: RGRP).
