Moody’s gives Rogers notes Baa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Baa3 ratings to Rogers Communications Inc.'s planned backed senior unsecured notes.

The company's outstanding Baa3 senior unsecured notes ratings, Ba2 subordinated notes ratings, and Prime-3 (P-3) commercial paper ratings are unchanged, the agency said.

Rogers plans to use the proceeds to repay debt, including a portion of its term loan facility that was used to partially fund the April 2023 acquisition of Shaw Communications Inc.

The outlook is unchanged at stable.
