Fitch affirms Rockwell

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Rockwell Automation, Inc.'s long-term issuer default rating at A, short-term issuer default rating at F1, senior unsecured bank facilities at A, senior unsecured long-term debt rating at A and commercial-paper rating at F1.

The outlook is stable.

The ratings are based on strong demand in the end markets it serves, ample liquidity, conservative financial policies and geographic diversification, Fitch said.

The agency said it anticipates that Rockwell's credit metrics will continue to improve over the near term, based on the continued recovery in 2011.
