Moody's assigns A3 to Rockwell notes

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned A3 ratings to Rockwell Automation Inc.'s new unsecured notes.

“The issuance does not impact other ratings of Rockwell, including the A3 senior unsecured or P-2 short-term ratings,” the agency said in a press release.

Rockwell will use the proceeds to partially fund the company's acquisition of Plex Systems, Inc.

The outlook is stable.
