S&P: Rockies Express on watch

S&P said it placed the ratings on Rockies Express Pipeline LLC on CreditWatch with negative implications to reflect the agency’s recently lowered oil and natural gas price assumptions, which could indicate a further deterioration in counterparty creditworthiness.

“We will resolve the CreditWatch placements after we assess the effects of lower commodity prices on counterparty credit quality,” said S&P in a press release.

The company’s BBB- issuer credit rating and the BBB- issue-level rating on the senior unsecured debt remain unchanged.
