Rock Energy Resources CEO reports 12.7% stake

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 18 - Rock Energy Resources, Inc. chairman and chief executive officer Rocky V. Emery purchased 46,000 shares of the company's stock between Aug. 21 and Sept. 11 at prices from $2.00 to $2.56 each.

The transactions were reported in a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Emery beneficially owns 9,666,334 shares, or 12.7%, of the Houston-based independent oil and natural gas company.
