Rockdale Resources completes $4.05 million private placement of stock

Company sells 5,781,798 common shares at $0.70 per share in offering

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 7 - Rockdale Resources Corp. settled a $4.05 million private placement of stock on Aug. 31, according to an 8-K filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company sold 5,781,798 common shares at $0.70 apiece. The per-share price represents a 55.98% discount to the Aug. 30 closing share price of $1.59.

The oil and gas explorer is based in Austin, Texas.
