RLJ Lodging Trust files automatic shelf covering stock, preferreds

New York, Aug. 22 - RLJ Lodging Trust filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, depositary shares, warrants and rights. The securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

RLJ Lodging Trust is a Bethesda, Md.-based real estate investment trust focused on acquiring premium-branded, focused-service and compact full-service hotels.
