Rite Aid buys back $38 million 6 7/8%, 7 1/8% notes
New York, June 29 - Rite Aid Corp. said it bought back a total of $38 million of its notes in June.
The Camp Hill, Pa., drug store operator said it repurchased $26.0 million of its 7 1/8% notes due 2007 and $12.0 million of its 6 7/8% notes due 2028.
A gain of $1.6 million will be recorded on the transactions, Rite Aid said in a 10-Q filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
