Ritchie hedge funds extend bid deadline for substantially all assets to Nov. 9

Pittsburgh, Oct. 18 - Ritchie Risk-Linked Strategies Trading (Ireland), Ltd. and Ritchie Risk-Linked Strategies Trading (Ireland) II, Ltd. have extended the bidding deadline for the sale of substantially all of their assets to Nov. 9 from Oct. 19, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Ritchie Capital Management's two Ireland-based hedge funds filed for bankruptcy on June 20. Their Chapter 11 case number is 07-11906.
