S&P upgrades RiskMetrics

Standard & Poor's said it raised the corporate credit rating on RiskMetrics Group Holdings LLC to BB- from B+ and its first-lien debt rating to BB+ from BB.

The outlook is stable.

"The upgrade reflects RiskMetrics' favorable operating trends which, despite the weak economic environment, drove significantly improved debt leverage," S&P analyst Joseph Spence said in a statement.
