Knoxville, Tenn., June 17 - Rick's Cabaret International, Inc. sold $13.44 million of its shares in a private placement on June 12, according to an 8-K filed Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company sold 672,000 restricted common shares at $20.00 per share.

Rick's is a Houston-based operator of adult nightclubs.
