Rhodes posts $196,000 January operating profit

Pittsburgh, Feb. 22 - Rhodes Inc. reported a $196,000 operating profit for January on $208,000 in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed on Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
In December, the company posted a $1.92 million operating profit on $364,000 in revenues.
The net loss for January was $728,000, up from a $76,000 December net loss.
Cash on Jan. 31 was $3.34 million, compared with $4.59 million at the end of December.
Rhodes, an Atlanta-based furniture retailer, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 4, 2004. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-78434.
