Rhodes shows $1.92 million December operating profit

Pittsburgh, Jan. 20 - Rhodes Inc. reported a $1.92 million operating profit for December on $364,000 in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

In November, the company reported a $209,000 operating profit on $365,000 in revenues.

The net loss for December was $76,000, down from a November net profit of $5.74 million.

Cash on Dec. 31 was $4.59 million, compared with $4.38 million at the end of November.

Rhodes, an Atlanta-based furniture retailer, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 4, 2004. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-78434.
