Rhodes posts $1.34 million October operating loss

Pittsburgh, Nov. 21 - Rhodes Inc. showed a $1.34 million operating loss for October on $34,000 in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

In September, the company posted a $1.16 million operating profit on revenues of $44,000.

The net loss for October was $2.09 million, down from a $1.13 million net income in September.

Cash on Oct. 31 was $4.96 million, up from $1.41 million at the end of September.

Rhodes, an Atlanta-based furniture retailer, filed for bankruptcy Nov. 4, 2004. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-78434.
