Reynolds American ends 2014 credit agreement in connection with merger

Columbus, Ohio, July 25 – Reynolds American Inc. terminated its credit agreement entered into on Dec. 18, 2014, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company terminated the credit agreement on Tuesday in connection with its merger with British American Tobacco plc. There were no borrowings or letters of credit outstanding under the credit agreement at the time of termination.

Reynolds American is a Winston-Salem, N.C.-based manufacturer and seller of cigarettes and other tobacco products.
