Moody's rates Rex Energy notes B3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a B3 rating to Rex Energy's proposed $250 million senior notes due 2020.

Moody's also assigned B2 corporate family and probability of default ratings and an SGL-3 speculative grade liquidity rating.

The outlook is stable.

Net proceeds from the notes offering will be used to repay all outstanding debt under Rex Energy's senior secured revolving credit facility and second-lien term loan and for general corporate purposes.
