Revlon $205 million six-year notes talked 9½% area, to price Friday

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, March 10 - Revlon Consumer Products Corp.'s $205 million offering of six-year notes (Caa2/CCC) is talked for a yield in the 9½% area, according to a market source.

The notes are expected to price on Friday.

Citigroup has the books for the Rule 144A/Regulation S offering, which has registration rights. Bear Stearns & Co. and UBS Investment Bank are the co-managers.

The notes are non-callable for three years.

Proceeds will be used to retire all of the company's $116.2 million of outstanding 8 1/8% senior notes due 2006 and all of the $75.5 million of its 9% senior notes due 2006, and a for general corporate purposes.

The offer does not constitute a call for the 8 1/8% or the 9% notes.

The prospective issuer is a wholly owned subsidiary of New York City-based Revlon Inc., a worldwide cosmetic, skin care, fragrance, and personal care products company.
