Reunion looks to extend financial statement filing deadline to Jan. 17

Pittsburgh, Jan. 3 - Reunion Industries, Inc. has asked for an extension to Jan. 17 of its deadline to file its statement of financial affairs, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut.

The financial statement is due on Jan. 3.

However, the company said it needs more time to gather and sort information that will be included in the statement and related schedules.

Reunion, a Pittsburgh-based manufacturer of metal and plastic products, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 29. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-50727.
