Response Genetics announces plans to conduct public offering of stock

Sale to be conducted by underwriter National Securities

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 12 - Response Genetics, Inc. said it will price a public sale of registered common stock.

National Securities Corp. is the underwriter.

Proceeds will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.

Response Genetics is a Los Angeles company that researches and develops clinical diagnostic tests for cancer.
