Residential Capital examiner now expects to file report in early May

Pittsburgh, Feb. 8 - Residential Capital, LLC's court-appointed examiner needs more time to submit the report of his findings, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Specifically, examiner Arthur J. Gonzalez said he now plans to deliver his report in early May.

In November, Gonzalez said he expected the report to be ready in early April.

Residential Capital, a New York-based real estate finance company, filed for bankruptcy on May 14, 2012. The case number is 12-12020.
