S&P: GMAC unaffected

Standard & Poor's said the ratings on GMAC LLC (BB+/negative) and its subsidiary, Residential Capital LLC (BBB-/negative/A-3), are not affected by the possible upgrade of General Motors' ratings.

The negative outlook on GMAC reflects possible rating pressures from GM and from Residential Capital LLC's operating performance, according to the agency.

The recent turmoil in the credit markets also adds to concerns, S&P said.
