New Issue: Reserve Bank of India sells Rs. 40 billion of 91-, 364-day bills

New York, Dec. 20 - The Reserve Bank of India sold a total of Rs. 40 billion in two tranches of Treasury bills on Wednesday.

The bank sold Rs. 20 billion of 91-day bills at 98.26 to yield 7.1027%. Of the 49 competitive bids received, 16 bids were accepted. The one non-competitive bid received was accepted. The weighted average price was 98.26.

The bank also sold Rs. 20 billion of 364-day bills at 93.27 to yield 7.2354%. Of the 83 competitive bids received, 27 bids were accepted. The one non-competitive bid was received. The weighted average price was 93.29.
