ATA posts $11.07 million April operating loss

Pittsburgh, June 1 - ATA Holdings Corp. reported an $11.07 million operating loss for April on revenues of $87.11 million, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

In March, ATA's operating loss was $2.20 million.

The net loss for April was $11.45 million, compared to a $315.37 million net loss in March.

Cash and cash equivalents at April 30 were $88.69 million, compared to $101.51 million at the end of March.

Indianapolis-based ATA, the parent of ATA Airlines, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 26, 2004. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-19866.
