ATA, Southwest amend DIP agreement to allow more time to file plan
By Caroline Salls
Pittsburgh, June 1 - ATA Holdings Corp. and Southwest Airlines Co. amended their debtor-in-possession credit agreement to extend the time ATA has to file a plan of reorganization to Dec. 31 from Sept. 30, according to an 8-K filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The amendment was approved by the Air Transportation Stabilization Board and by the official creditors committee for ATA's Chapter 11 cases.
On Dec. 23, 2004, Southwest agreed to provide ATA Airlines, Inc. with a DIP facility of up to $47 million.
Indianapolis-based ATA filed for bankruptcy with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana on Oct. 26, 2004. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-19866.
