ATA gets two-day continuance on exclusivity extension hearing

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, May 18 - ATA Holdings Corp. was granted a two-day continuance to May 25 of its hearing on its motion for extension of its exclusive period to file a plan of reorganization, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

ATA also obtained a bridge extension to the exclusive period to May 25 from May 24.

The company said in a filing Tuesday that it wants to extend its exclusive period to file a plan to Aug. 22 because of the large size and complex structure of the bankruptcy case.

Indianapolis-based ATA, the parent of ATA Airlines, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 26, 2004. The Chapter 11 case number is 04-1986.
