ATA seeks continuance for hearing on exclusivity extension

Pittsburgh, May 17 - ATA Holdings Corp. requested its hearing on its motion for extension of its exclusive period to file a plan of reorganization be continued to May 25 from May 23, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
In turn, ATA asked for a bridge extension to the exclusive period to May 25 from May 24.
The company wants to extend its exclusive period to file a plan to Aug. 22 because of the large size and complex structure of the bankruptcy case.
Indianapolis-based ATA, the parent of ATA Airlines, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 26, 2004. The Chapter 11 case number is 04-1986.
