Washington, April 4 - ATA Holdings Corp.'s February net loss of $23.57 million was almost identical to January's $23.74 million of red ink, according to the company's monthly operating report.

Revenues for the carrier were $90.67 million in the second month of the year compared to $105.11 million for January, which had three more flying days.

February's fuel bill for the company was nearly 17% lower than the month before with $24.91 million in costs in February and $30.09 million in January.

The company saw its cash and cash equivalents shrink by nearly one-seventh to $104.55 million at the end of February from a bankroll of $123.47 million the month before

Indianapolis-based ATA, the parent of ATA Airlines, filed for bankruptcy with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana on Oct. 26, 2004. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-19866.
