ATA puts Chicago Express up for sale
New York, Feb. 7 - ATA Airlines, Inc. said it plans to sell Chicago Express, including its Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration certificates.
The Indianapolis-based airline said the move is part of its continuing reorganization and results from its decision to change its route network.
Chicago Express operates as ATA Connection flying between small- and medium-sized cities and Chicago Midway or Indianapolis.
ATA Airlines and parent ATA Holding Corp. filed for Chapter 11 on Oct. 26, 2004 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Its case number is 04-19866.
