Republic Services expands credit agreement to $3.5 billion

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 3 – Republic Services, Inc. entered on Oct. 30 into a second amendment to its amended and restated credit agreement dated Aug. 17, 2021 with Bank of America, NA as administrative agent to increase total commitments by $500 million to $3.5 billion, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
As part of the commitment increase, the amount of permitted loans to the Canadian borrower and loans denominated in Canadian dollars each were increased to $1 billion from $500 million. The Canadian sublimit is a part of, and not in addition to, the total commitments under the credit agreement.
The waste collection company is based in Phoenix.
