Moody's gives Republic bond Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it gave a Baa2 rating to Republic Services, Inc.'s planned bond issuance.

All other ratings for Republic are unaffected currently, including the Baa2 senior unsecured ratings on the company's outstanding notes.

Proceeds will be used to term-out shorter duration debt of about $464 million that had been used to finance recent acquisitions.

The outlook is stable.
