Germany's Rentenbank to issue $1 billion five-year global notes

Omaha, Jan. 30 - Rentenbank plans to issue $1 billion of five-year global notes with pricing expected later this week, a market source said.

The notes (Aaa/AAA) will mature on March 15, 2013.

Bookrunners are Credit Suisse Securities LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and RBC Capital Markets.

Proceeds will be used to finance lending activities, including refinancing of existing liabilities.

The issuer is Germany's agriculture agency and is based in Frankfurt.
