Renewable Energy Generation to raise £125 million from share placement

Des Moines, Nov. 6 - Renewable Energy Generation Ltd. plans to conduct a private placement of shares for up to £125 million.

Proceeds will be used for expansion of the company's operations, especially its newly acquired pipeline of projects in Canada and portfolio of wind projects in the United Kingdom.

Merrill Lynch International will act as global coordinator and bookrunner for the deal, which is expected to close by the end of 2006.

Based in Guildford, England, Renewable Energy Generation invests in renewable energy projects.
