AstraZeneca to issue fixed-rate, floating-rate notes in four parts

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 14 – AstraZeneca plc intends to offer notes in four tranches, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be sold in three fixed-rate tranches due 2023, 2029 and 2048 and one floating-rate tranche due 2023.

The fixed-rate notes will have make-whole calls and par calls. The floaters will be non-callable.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including debt repayment.

The biopharmaceutical company is based in Cambridge, England.
