AstraZeneca upgraded to peer perform by Bear Stearns
AstraZeneca plc was upgraded to peer perform from underperform by Bear Stearns analyst Alexandra Hauber. The company's CEO painted a credible scenario for 2006 earnings per share of $3.40 to $3.60. The company's long-term outlook is uncertain, but the near-term earnings growth outlook could continue to improve. Shares of the London pharmaceutical company were up 5 cents, or 0.11%, at $46.85 on volume of 686,600 shares versus the three-month running average of 1,076,390 shares. (NYSE: AZN)
