AstraZeneca to collaborate with ChemBridge on small molecule libraries

Philadelphia, Sept. 21 - AstraZeneca plc announced Thursday a multi-year collaboration in discovery chemistry with ChemBridge Corp. and ChemBridge Research Laboratories, Inc.

In accordance with the agreement, the San Diego-based chemical company's scientists at Moscow and San Diego research sites will work closely with AstraZeneca scientists to develop highly advanced exclusive small molecule libraries enhancing the drug discovery effort of AstraZeneca, a London-based pharmaceutical company, the companies said in a news release.

Further details and financial terms were not disclosed.
