Regal cuts conversion price for 3.75% convertibles

Chicago, June 22 - Regal Entertainment Group lowered the conversion price on its 3.75% convertible senior notes due May 15, 2008 to $12.8371, according to an 8-K filling with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Regal lowered the conversion price to $13.0075 per share from $14.3556 per share on April 16.

The company's stock (NYSE: RGC) closed at $22.15 June 21.

Regal is a Knoxville, Tenn.-based operator of movie theaters.
