By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, July 15 - Price talk of 9¼% area emerged Tuesday on Reddy Ice, Inc.'s upcoming sale of $150 million eight-year non-call-four senior subordinated notes (B3/B-), according to a syndicate source.

The deal is expected to price on Thursday morning, the source added.

Credit Suisse First Boston, CIBC World Markets and Bear Stearns & Co. are joint bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to refinance debt including the redemption of $270 million of senior notes due 2005.

The company, formerly Packaged Ice, Inc., is headquartered in Dallas.
