Reader's Digest parent records $100,000 loss for Feb. 17-March 31

Pittsburgh, April 30 - RDA Holding Co., the parent of the Reader's Digest Association, Inc., reported a $100,000 operating loss for the period of Feb. 17 through March 31 on $21.9 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The net loss for the period was $6.2 million.

RDA had $65.8 million in cash and cash equivalents as of March 31.

Reader's Digest, a subsidiary of RDA Holding Co., is a media and direct marketing company based in New York. The company filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 17 under Chapter 11 case number 13-22233.
